Wessel Ranch is a family-owned and operated cattle ranch based near Lavina, Montana. Since 1934, our family has proudly raised quality Hereford cattle while carrying forward the values of hard work, stewardship, and dedication to agriculture.

Our program focuses on producing practical Hereford cattle with strong feedlot performance, longevity, structural soundness, and reliability in dry-range environments. We strive to raise cattle that perform efficiently in real-world conditions while maintaining the quality, consistency, and appearance the Hereford breed is known for.

We place strong emphasis on good udders, teat structure, sound feet, and overall functionality to produce dependable cattle with long-term productivity for commercial cattle producers.
